Great pictures of Sariah and Camden, Chels! I really love the one where he's looking through the wrought iron. I didn't even know you'd posted more pictures - just hadn't looked in a few days, so got to be surprised. What picture are you doing for your assignment tonight?
Composition! There are 6 elements to having good composition in a photograph and we have to turn in 6 photos...each having one of the 6 elements. I'm already having fun. I'll post them when I've chosen finals :) Love you!
Wow...is this blog a secret? I love your pictures. I'm so glad you are a taking a class and get to do all those fun and awesome pictures. Keep me posted and thanks for posting Camden. He looks so sweet and innocent!
It's not so much of a secret as it I just don't want to tell everyone about it :) I mainly created it for my Aunt Lori b/c she loves me so much and always asks to see my pictures. It's so much easier to blog than to e-mail. I just wanted to show you the pics of Camden. Glad you liked them.
Calico Basin @ Red Rock is just a couple of miles up Charleston from the 215. This location has a huge wooden walkway bridge that winds up toward the mountain through lots of beautiful trees. The scenery changes drastically throughout the year. It is very brown usually Dec-Feb/Mar, then turns to shades of green with pretty yellow blossoms from about Apr-Oct, and then has really pretty fall colors for about a month before it turns brown again.
Blue Diamond City is located about 10 minutes from Blue Diamond Road & Ft. Apache. It consists of small town houses, greenery, and my favorite background ever...the RED wall! It has the most gorgeous yellow leaves in the fall. The one downfall to Blue Diamond is that the residents don't love people coming around doing photo shoots in their small town.
The Henderson Museumis approx. 45 minutes away from the SW side of town and has a $2/person admission fee. It looks very similar to Blue Diamond but has no residents to worry about. There are a lot of little houses and cute picket fences. Some trains, lots of grass and trees. Love this location.
Lake Las Vegas is also approx. 45 min away from the SW side of town. Beautiful lake, lots if greenery, neutral colors and beautiful buildings. A more formal setting.
Rhodes Ranch is a golf course located near the 215 & Durango in the SW area of Las Vegas. It's very green and has lots of palm trees, grass, some small water features and flowers.
The Smith Center is a performing arts center located near the LV Strip, just off of the I-15 & I-95. A gorgeous building with some modern art structures, grass, and palm trees.
